I sold both of the VW's in great shape. I am going back to VW within the year for a few reasons: the #1 reason is size. I fit better in VW's than I do mazdas and I can get a wagon in a VW, not a mazda. I could go to a CX-5 but I already own a truck so I like having a low COG on my DD. #2 VW is a bit more powerful and tuneable.
In 2016, Volkswagen ranked 22 out of 29 manufacturers according to the annual ConsumerReports reliability survey. In that same year, ReliabilityIndex reported that Volkswagen came 9th in their annual report. Though this doesn’t sound impressive, it is better than two of its German counterparts, Audi and BMW. In ReliabilityIndex’s 2019
Thanks AJ. You can call it bad luck, but it's bad design more like. A trawl around the various VAG forums will show you that Turbo Actuator failure is a regular occurrence on the 1.2 TSI in SEAT, VW, SKoda, etc - but I was more surprised when the much more modern 1.0 did it too.

Winner: Skoda Kodiaq; Score: 97.19% But while cars may be more reliable than ever before, that certainly doesn’t mean new models are immune to faults. Volkswagen T-Roc. Mid-Size SUV. 24
1HAupae. 21. Our Scala is a hit. It’s really spacious and good to drive, cheap enough to run, and has a great infotainment system. It’s just a shame the DSG gearbox isn’t a little more responsive
Worked hard, the Kodiaq does a decent aural impression of a two-ton Golf GTI. The 188-hp turbo-diesel makes more torque but sounds coarse and, despite its 11-hp advantage over its gasoline
The Skoda Fabia has been a huge success, with more than 4.5 million finding homes around the world since it launched around two decades ago. Customers appreciated the affordable running costs
Vw always try to more premium than skoda and skoda always try to be more practicle. Thats why skoda cars cost less than vw. Both have same unbeatable quality as half of skodas are manufactured by vw and vice versa in india. For ex rapid is wholy manufatured by vw at chakan. Consequently Do Skoda have VW engines? No. Skoda makes all the VW Group
Of those, less than 1% show more than 200,000 miles, about 12% come in between 150,000 and 200,000 miles, and 49% range between 100,000 and 150,000 miles. Given that, 150,000 miles could be considered high mileage for a Volkswagen CC as the 200,000-mile mark has been achieved by an extremely small percentage of cars.
