I mean,I get what you're saying and even somewhat agree with some of what you said..I must point out the fact that Assassin's Creed Odyssey has reviewed extremely well even better than Origins did..probably the highest reviewed AC game ever.Ive seen mostly 9/10+ reviews,a few at 8/10-8.5/10 and even a few 10/10..I bet it's metacritic score is Assassin’s Creed Odyssey improves on the already impressive framework laid by 2017’s Assassin’s Creed Origins, primarily by deepening the RPG elements that Origins first introduced. Dialogue options, character development, levelling up, equipment, and more all boast enhanced systems that will help make your Odyssey playthrough different Odyssey’s combat is better than origins and has a more interesting open world. I would recommend Odyssey to start especially if you like Ancient Greece. Origins felt like more of a slog in terms of main and side quests. If you play on Xbox, both of them are on game pass at the moment. Wait until Odyssey is cheaper, and a bit further along in its' GAAS lifespan - there'll be plenty of balance and QOL patches, as well as new content in 6-9 months time. Locations That Make Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Better But odyssey and origins is the reason I like valhalla more overall whilst parkour is actually worse compared to odyssey and origins there are some great moments that speak to me as an og fan in valhalla. Origins bored me to tears but bayek felt like the next awesome developed and likeble assassin after altair ezio and Edward. Odyssey - i have many complaints about this game if we’re talking about it in the sense of the overall assassins creed story. However looking at it as a more standalone game: the main story I thought was actually very good, despite it having nothing to do with Assassins, the world was amazing, Kassandra was one of my favorite protagonists. Honestly, i didn't enjoy this one. Just like other ubisoft games. This game felt like a chore, majority of the side quest are repetitve, even the main storyline is repetitive and predictable.
